Showers develop Friday afternoon; Very COLD this weekend

One year ago today we had 4.5 inches of snow fall in the Starkville/MSU area.  While we do not have any snow in our forecast, it will definitely feel like winter this weekend as the temperature will hold in the upper 30′s on Saturday with a low Saturday night in the lower 20′s.

In the meantime, tonight will be partly cloudy and cool with a low near 32.  We may see some sun early tomorrow, but clouds will quickly increase during the morning and scattered showers will develop during the afternoon with a high near 50.

After a very cold weekend, temperatures will be closer to normal next week, but there is the threat for rain Monday night and again later in the week.

Friday – Some sun possible early, then becoming cloudy with scattered showers developing during the afternoon with a high of 50
